Clubs:

Club Registration Policy

When you join one of our clubs we ask that you commit to attending each monthly class. You are required to pay the monthly fee, even if you are unable to attend that month. A discount will be given to students who pay for the entire class fees by the first class date.

Block of the Month ~ Baskets

Meetings are the second Saturday of the month from 8:45 - 10:00 AM.

Teen Class

Teens and Tweens can join Michelle each month to make a variety of small projects. Teens should be comfortable operating their sewing machine and have some sewing experience. The club meets most months on the second Tuesday evening from 6:30 to 8:30.

This quarter: Reader Wrap

The Teen Class will be making a cover that can be used for an e-reader or journal. Choose 3 coordinating fat quarters to make this stylish cover. Add additional personal touches with pockets and closure options.

McKenna Ryan Club- Bella Garden

Join Kathy for this eight month club while you make a tranquil quilt using McKenna Ryan’s newest set of patterns, “Bella Garden”. Kathy will guide you through the process as you trace, cut and sew this beautiful art quilt. Beginning in March, the group will meet on the forth Thursday evening of the month, from 6:00 - 9:00.

Bug Brigade Hand Appliqué

Join Michelle for a relaxing evening of needle turn appliqué. Fun and friendly bugs are the focus of this quilt that can be used as a wall hanging or small child’s quilt. The signup fee is $35 for this 7 month club and $15 for each month’s class. Meetings are the fourth Tuesday of the month from 6:00 - 9:00.

Celebrate Sunbonnet Sue

Many of us love Sunbonnet Sue, and Patti is going toshow us how to dress her in outfits that reflect the holiday for each month. We will use the book, A Year in the Life of Sunbonnet Sue for patterns and inspiration. The signup fee is $20 for this 12-month club and $15 for each month’s class. Meetings are the second Thursday of each month.

Patti's Tea Party

As everybody loves a tea and our hostess is planning 6 months of “Sweet Tea” fun. For just $15 per month, each guest is invited for a 3 hour seating. Patti will guide you in the fine art of piecing these adorable tea Meetings are the third Thursday of each month. 9 am - noon ~or~ 6:00 - 9:00.

12 Days of Christmas Stitchery

All levels of stitchers are welcome to join Tracy Souza in this new club exclusive to A Quilted Heart! Twelve delightful stitcheries make up this whimsical Plumcute Designs project. A variety of stitches will be taught to create each month’s block, as well as some tips for better embroidery results! The signup fee is $20 for this 11-month club and $15 for each month’s class.

Meetings are the fourth Friday of the month from 6:30 - 9:00.

Groups

Quilts of Valor

Join us as we host ongoing workshops for quilters to get help in finishing up their quilts and to continue working on more quilts to donate to our soldiers. Workshops will be held at A Quilted Heart on the Tuesdays from 6:00-9:00 pm.

Binky Patrol

Meeting once a month, this heartfelt group of volunteers has created hundreds of blankets that are donated for children in crisis.

Sit ‘n Sew

Attention Quilters! Do you want to stay in touch with other quilters? Come visit our Sit ‘n Sew day. This is an opportunity to finish some old projects or start new ones. So, dig out your u.f.o.s, bring yourself and a friend, sewing supplies and your lunch and finish that project.

11:00 – 4:00 on the following dates:

Fee: $5 (Preregistration is required.)

Sew-n-Supper

Bring your unfinished projects, or something you have wanted to start and a super supper will be provided along with Starbucks and dessert. Registration begins the first day of each month at 10am. Because space is limited to 10, each participant may only sign up and pay for themselves and one other kindred spirit.
