Jellied Coins Baby Quilt ♥♥

This is first in a series of baby quilt classes. This quilt is made entirely out of 2 ½” strips. One jelly roll will make 2 quilt tops!

Machine Quilting Made Easy ♥♥

If you are afraid to machine quilt, this class is for you. In this 2 part class you will practice quilting by learning stitch in the ditch and free motion techniques on your sewing machine. Then you will confidently quilt an easy table runner using both techniques!

Teen Class: Reader Wrap ♥

The Teen Class will be making a cover that can be used for an e-reader or journal. Choose 3 coordinating fat quarters to make this stylish cover. Add additional personal touches with pockets and closure options.

Broken Hearts ♥♥

One of Eleanor Burn’s most charming heart quilt patterns, this variation will cause you to see it more as a union of two hearts. This lap quilt is machine pieced with simple appliqué.

Beginning Quilting ♥

In these four basic classes you learn firsthand what is involved in making a quilt. Together we will explore how to cut accurately, sew precisely and press properly, along with strip piecing, continuous sewing, binding and “sew” much more.

Binding Class ♥

Are you in a quandary over how to bind your quilt? Bring your own quilt and discover hands on just how simple it is. Learn double French seam binding with those important mitered corners, bias binding for beautiful curved edges and self-binding. Class size is limited to five.

Charming Pinwheels Baby Quilt ♥♥

Make a delightful pinwheel quilt for an adored baby using 50 charm squares and a background fabric. Using an easy half-square triangle technique, this quilt whips up fast.

Magic Carpet ♥♥

This quilt can resemble a Persian rug or a modern marvel. The key is to pick fabrics that “feel” similar in style: holiday fabrics, batiks, calicos, or a modern collection. The fabric requirements allow you to make a large throw and a smaller baby quilt or table topper.

Color Choices ♥

Learn about color in a low-pressure environment. We will not sew in this class, but will play with fabric and color wheels to learn about choosing color. Each participant will leave class with a color wheel, a bibliography of resources and a list of helpful tools, as well as class written materials.

Class registration and refund policy:

Registration may be completed by phone with a credit card, by mail with a check or in person at A Quilted Heart. Most classes have a 72 hour no refund cancellation policy. There are both minimum and maximum class sizes . We recommend you sign up early to secure your place in the class. Also, be sure the minimum has been reached before you purchase your supplies, as classes not meeting the minimum may be canceled.

As popular as many of our classes are, our classroom seating is limited. So, we ask you to refrain from inviting guests who are not registered for the class to attend with you.
